 <title>New mayor in Notodden</title>
 <description>The City Council of Notodden finally elected a new Mayor. His name is Jørn Christensen. He is 59 years old and represents the Conservative Party. The elected Deputy Mayor, Knut Duesund, represents the Christian Liberal Party. Lise Wiik is elected to Telemark County Council and will be responsible for the board working with business development. As Telemark County Council is a partner in TiF she will for sure follow us in some way or other. </description>

 <title>A Mecca for Blues lovers</title>
 <description>More than 30 performers from USA, UK, Norway, Serbia, Belgium, France, Ireland, Germany, Slovakia, Denmark, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia and Poland turned the city of Suwalki into the European city of Blues. From 14th to 16th of July Suwalki became a Mecca for music lovers. There were 89 accredited journalists and reporters from Poland and abroad as well as 45 volunteers, who helped to organize the whole event. Thanks to all of them the fourth edition of the Suwalki Blues Festival will be remembered as another brilliant celebration of Blues.</description>

 <title>Energy saving exhibition in Uddebo</title>
 <description>The very nice spring day of April 17th, Yellow Hose in Uddebo, Tranemo municipality organized an energy exhibition. Focus was on how you as a private person can use the wind and sun to produce energy in a small scale. Most people are very interested to save the environment and of course money, which is possible. The exhibitors demonstrated their technical solutions and there were lectures about small windmills, solar cells and economy. The energy and climate advisors of Tranemo municipality showed some examples how you easily can save energy and what kind of help they can provide.</description>

 <description>On March 29, 2011 Trans In Form project partners met in Riga to discuss future scenarios of Vidzeme region. Different perspectives of workshop participants raised discussion about what kind of rural area Vidzeme would be in the future, how can it better sell it’s local potentials globally, and how can this region achieve greater interconnectedness in all aspects of economic and social life? In the end participants were invited to present main drivers of Vidzeme development and compose future narratives about one typical day in Vidzeme in 2030.</description>

As this partner was the last one to join in the project, they have some steps to make until they are in line with other project partners. </description>

 <description>6-8 April 2011 Grodno City in Belarus hosted a workshop on promoting city attractiveness. Grodno city-museum was the conference title, which was deeply discussed if it should become the slogan for branding the place, or not. Poland, Lithuania, Norway and Latvia have visited Grodno to share their views and help with elaboration of ideas. The two-day seminar consisted of a plenary, the city study tour and workshops for concrete suggestions.</description>
