Dear Trans in Form project partners and participants,

We are happy to invite you to the Trans in Form WP3 methodology workshop. It is going to take place from the 05th – 07th May 2010 in Potsdam, Germany.

The workshop contains “Scenario planning and benchmarking attractiveness” and it should show what kind of chances the project affords to all partners against the demographic change in rural cities as our first milestone. Therefore we build on the experiences of the Regional Planning Authority Havelland-Fläming with their competences in the EU project Hinterland and on the experiences of the Telemark Research Center with their competences with the “Attractivity Barometer”.

These are methods we have to discuss and to think about to answer the question how to make our cities and regions more attractive for people and businesses. To discuss these problems the region of Havelland-Fläming seems to be a good practice example with different situations.
