Ørje is the main town in the border region between Østfold(Norway)and Värmland(Sweden)and the center of Marker Municipality. It's also hosting the border crossing at the E18, just outside the center. There is alot of vehicles passing Ørje eevery day and especially during weekedns for "swedish trade" as it's called in Norway. Thousands of Norwegians from the Oslo and Østfold area are going to Sweden for purchasing cheaper goods as wine, meat, beer and beverage. Ørje has potentially the possiblity to tap vistors from that stream into the town center.
