An interactive space in Jelgava Local Municipality

The summer holiday is over in the Trans in Form project and the new load of activities and events are waiting. However, a part of the summer was occupied with the reporting to the first milestone for all the project partners. Now when the documents are submitted it is time look further and present new actions. Hereby the Latvian Trans in Form project partner invites to an event: “An interactive public space of Jelgava Local Municipality” 4-6 October 2010.

The workshop will be organized within the “Trans in Form” project work package Nr.5 “Investments and technical documentations”. During the workshop the focus will be put on the attractiveness potential of rural areas in the Baltic Sea Region, especially on the topics like urban-rural interactions, integration of urban design elements into rural landscape and solutions to make rural areas more lively and attractive for local citizens and visitors.

According to the “Trans in Form” project application Jelgava Local municipality is going to implement the pilot investment project “Interactive Public Space” in Eleja manor park to create a new highlight for Jelgava region.

The deadline for the registration is September 3, 2010.

All participants are requested to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Jelgava Local Municipality will cover other costs.
