Workshop in Jelagava with a focus on Interactive Public Space

A breath of fresh air in Eleja Manor Park

On October 5th Jelgava Local Municipality organized a workshop of the workpackage 5. Along the lines “Interactive Public Space – achievements and visions” different working groups including the TiFproject management and partners from Jelgava Local Municipality, Suwalki in Poland and Tranemo in Sweden took part in the latest TiF meeting. The partners from Sweden are preparing to implement an investment project.

Jelgava Local Municipality presented the latest activities in the investment project: The elaboration of the interactive public object in the Eleja manor park. Furthermore, results of the dendrological audit of the park and landscape design solutions to choose the site for interactive sculpture were presented. In his turn sculptor Gļebs Panteļejevs talked about possible complex solutions of the interactive public object and the development of the park. Polish and Swedish project partners presented their activities as well.
